My posting of this dedication may seem long overdue...
However the knot in my broken heart put me into a stage of denial.
Of indisputable refusal to believe this severe tradgedy was real.
Which led me to celebrate my daughter's birthday harder than ever before,
To stare at her longer and hold her hand tighter than I thought already possible.
My husband, daughter and I celebrated every minute of 4 long days,
Gave away 200 helium balloons to children,
Shared 5 BIG birthday cakes,
Face painted every child desiring to have so done,
And sang THE LOUDEST HAPPY BIRTHDAY with 100+ families whom we had never met before,
Not only in honor of our precious daughter's 5th birthday,
But ALSO in honor of every birthday that will be missed
by the beautiful children, teachers & families of Sandy Brook Elemntary School, CT
LET OUR PRAYERS BE EVERLASTING FOR OUR CHILDREN
