Ye' rocked a black leather Givenchy kilt, similar to one he wore during his Watch the Throne tour with Jay-Z last year, along with a black "Pyrex" hoodie. His girlfriend Kim Kardashian seemed to be the biggest fan of it.

The Twittersphere was set abuzz and a faux account for the kilt was quickly made. Many fans jokingly poked that Kanye "Kilt" his performance. One added, "What a shocker, Kanye does something outlandish by wearing askirt during a highly televised event." Rapper Cam'ron even commented, and later deleted, on his Instagram account: “Pyrex and a skirt? S--- ain't adding up. And if u co-sign this I'm blocking u!! Straight up. I'ma have to save us.”

Some fans were more open to the bold choice. Fashion editor Mickey Boardman of Paper applauded the rapper for his daring fashion choice, tweeting "I applaud Kanye for wearing a skirt over pants look. HELLO Rock stars are supposed to dress freaky, people! Get over it." while one fan tweeted, ""Did people really go on a rampage about Kanye wearing a skirt last night? I thought it was quite tasteful"

As usual, Kanye's boo Kim Kardashian had nothing but love for her man. "Awwwwwwww I'm so excited right now!!!!! He looks so cute!!" she tweeted

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, ....... what are your honest opinions? Fashion or Fail?
