ABC News reports:

President Obama won a second term tonight as ABC News projects he will be re-elected and he promised his thrilled supporters "that for the United States of America the best is yet to come."Obama appeared before thousands of cheering Democrats to the beat of Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed and Delivered" after securing a strong electoral lead, although he just eked out victories in key states.

He congratulated his opponent Mitt Romney and said, "In the weeks ahead I am looking forward to sitting down with Gov. Romney to discuss how we can move this country forward."

In a victory speech studded with the soaring rhetoric that first drew voters to him in 2008, Obama reminded the electorate what was still on his agenda -- immigration reform, climate change and job creation.

Obama's Full Full Acceptance Speech

"Tonight, you voted for action not politics as usual." he told supporters in Chicago. "You elected us to focus on your job, not ours."
Obama told Romney supporters that "I have listened to you… you have made me a better president."
He added, "I return to the White House more determined, more inspired than ever."
The election is a validation, if not an overwhelming mandate, in support of the president's policies of the last four years, which included a major overhaul of the healthcare system and a drawdown of troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Obama built a coalition of young people, minorities, and college educated women and won by turning out supporters with a carefully calibrated ground operation to get out the vote in crucial states like Ohio, Iowa and Wisconsin.
He thanked those who voted "whether you voted for very first time, or waited in line for a very long time -- by the way we have to fix that," he joked.
He thanked Vice President Joe Biden, whom he called "America's best happy warrior" and first lady Michele Obama.

"Sasha and Malia," he said addressing his two daughters. "You're growing up to be two strong, smart, beautiful young women…I'm so proud of you. But I will say for now, one dog is probably enough," he said riffing on his promise of a puppy four years ago.
Prior to the president's speech, Mitt Romney conceded gracefully in Boston.

"I so wish that I had been able to fufill your hopes....but the nation chose another leader," Romney told heart broken supporters at his Boston headquarters.
"I pray the president will be successful in guiding our nation," Romney said before running mate Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin and their families joined Romney on the podium.
Obama's lease on the White House was renewed with a crucial victory in Ohio.

Celebrations erupted in Obama's home town of Chicago, in New York's Time Square and outside the White House, while Romney's Boston headquarters went mournfully quiet.
"We're all in this together. That's how we campaigned, and that's who we are. Thank you," Obama tweeted even before formally announcing his victory.

Nevertheless, it was a squeaker. In Florida and Virginia, states that were key to both candidates, Obama and Romney were separated by a single percentage point. Ohio also was close, with the candidates also separated by a point late into the vote count. And the popular vote was nearly split evenly down the middle nationally.

With counting still going on and before Florida had been called, Obama led with a significant electoral lead, 303 votes 203".

After Totally Deleting All Of His Tweets, Kanye West Returns to Twitter to Remember Steve Jobs

Just a couple of days after deleting all of tweets and leaving his 8.6 followers with a simple "Be back soon," West, 35, is tweeting again -- this time, to pay homage to Apple's late co-founder, Steve Jobs.

"WE LOST STEVE A YEAR AGO TODAY . . ." West wrote Friday evening, using his signature all-caps style. "HE IS ONE OF THE MOST INSPIRING AND INFLUENTIAL HUMAN BEINGS OF OUR EXISTENCE ALONG WITH MICHAEL JACKSON, WALT DISNEY AND DR. [MARTIN LUTHER] KING."

Added West, "LET'S BE THANKFUL FOR HIS LIFE AND RESPECT HIS LEGACY BY NEVER COMPROMISING ON OUR FUTURE."

Prior to clearing his Twitter feed, the outspoken Grammy winner was known for his always entertaining, often outrageous musings about life on the A-list. (Among the best? "I specifically ordered persian rugs with cherub imagery!!! What do I have to do to get a simple rug with cherub imagery uuuuugh," he wrote in July 2010. And, "I hate when I'm on a flight and I wake up with a water bottle next to me like oh great now I gotta be responsible for this water bottle," he tweeted that October.)

More recently, West had been keeping his Twitter transmissions short and sweet.
"Mercy," he captioned a photo of girlfriend Kim Kardashian, 31, in a formfitting backless Tom Ford dress in early August. A few days later he let his followers know, "I wrote the song Perfect Bitch about Kim."

Fleetwood Mac Singer Stevie Nicks is Apologizing For Wanting To Strangle Nicki Minaj Over Mariah Carey Beef

OMG by Yahoo just broke this news report:

Stevie Nicks / Nicki Minaj -- Getty Images

"The former Fleetwood Mac singer, who was a mentor last season on "American Idol," was asked about the recent blowup between new "Idol" judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, and Stevie had some strong words for the new "Idol" judge.

"How dare this little girl!... If I had been Mariah I would have walked over to Nicki and strangled her to death right there," the 64-year-old rocked told The Daily.com when asked about Minaj. "I would have killed her in front of all those people and had to go to jail for it."

Now, Nicks regrets her comments and says they came after a grueling day with the media.

"I want to apologize for my remarks about Nicki Minaj's behavior toward Mariah Carey which I said during a long and exhausting day of interviews. It was very out of character for me and I deeply regret what I said," she said in a statement released to Access Hollywood.
Adding, "I feel very protective toward Mariah Carey who has gone through many difficulties in her life and I spoke without thinking. I think all artists should be respectful toward one another and that includes me. I am truly sorry."
A rep for Minaj was not immediately available for comment when contacted by Access Hollywood on Wednesday."

Actress Stacey Dash gets BLASTED On Twitter for Encouraging Us All to Vote For Mitt Romney

From NY Daily News Reports:

"After experiencing a firestorm on Twitter fueled by racially explosive language, “Clueless” star Stacey Dash evoked Martin Luther King Jr. on Tuesday to explain why she’s supporting Mitt Romney for President.

“I chose him not by the color of his skin, but the content of his character,” the black actress told CNN’s Piers Morgan.

Dash also dished that the GOP nominee’s running mate, Paul Ryan, called her personally to praise her, she said.

But Morgan began the interview by reading Dash some of the more provocative tweets pouncing on her initial Twitter post Sunday, when she urged people to “vote for Romney.”

“This is somebody who tweeted, ‘You’re an unemployed black woman endorsing Mitt Romney. You’re voting against yourself thrice, you poor beautiful idiot.’ And somebody else just put, ‘Kill yourself, you old hag,'” Morgan said, labeling the remarks “disgusting.”

“I don’t feel offended. I just feel that, you know, as a country, this is my choice,” Dash responded. “This is the man [Romney] I want to lead my country.”

Other Twitter users who attacked Dash referred to her as an “indoor slave” and joked that she is no longer black.

“RACIAL DRAFT: I LIKE TO REQUEST A TRADE TO SEND STACEY DASH TO THE CAUCASIANS TO ACQUIRE BILL CLINTON TO THE BLACKS,” tweeted someone named Mr.Controversy.

Samuel L. Jackson, an ardent supporter of President Obama, also tweeted his surprise Tuesday that Dash plans to vote for Romney — although the potty-mouthed actor kept it clean.

“Wait, did Stacey Dash Really endorse Romney today?! REALLY????! Is she CRA...........??!” Jackson wrote.

Dash said getting bashed on Twitter “saddened and shocked” her. But plenty of Twitter users also came to her defense — and she mentioned that veep candidate Ryan called her Tuesday.

“He said, ‘Thank you so much for your support,’ and that I was brave, and they support me, and I thought that was so generous and kind,” Dash said.

A former Obama supporter in 2008, she told Morgan that she decided to switch parties after seeing the Romneys on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

“They spoke to me, and they seemed authentic and genuine about what they said about this country, about the need for us to be united and move forward,” Dash said."

Beyonce Says "Deuces" to Playing Star Role in Clint Eastwood's New Movie

If you were one of the millions of fans SO ANXIOUS to see Beyonce return to the big screen as the star in Clint Eastwood’s remake of “A Star is Born", then sorry to tear your poor little hearts out but....Rrrippp!! Multiple sources are now reporting that the new mommy and superstar songstress has exited out of the film.

"Beyoncé made an announcement on E! News on Tuesday that although she was looking forward to working with Eastwood, she had to drop out of the movie because her busy schedule just wouldn’t allow it.

According to 31-year-old Beyoncé, “I was looking forward to the production of A Star Is Born and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood. For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together.”
